I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS A FORMULA THAT WHEN I PUT A DATE IN. iT WILL TELL
ME HOW CLOSE I'M GETTING. OR IT NOTIFS ME OF THE DATE. BLINKING
I HAVE ALMOST ALL EXCEL BOOKS I THOUGHT THAT I SAW IT IN THERE SOME WHERE.

Date differences can be computed using normal arithmetic. When you say "..
how close I'm getting..", getting close to what?

I guess you had better start searching ALL those books.....

Please drop the all caps.

You can use Conditional Formatting to give a cell a background color when the
date entered is near a pre-set date.

=E3>$G$3-7 where G3 is pre-set date and E3 has the entered date.
