Hi all,
Is possible to make a MDE where the database window can't
be opened by users?? -e.g. not possible to unhide it -

You would need to turn off the default built-in toolbars
and the special keys option, then setup your own toolbars
that do not include access to the database window.

You can generally hide all of the ms-access interface with ease.

In fact, I have a sample mdb that does just that.

If you turn my sample into a mde, and disable the shift key during start-up,
then you get exactly what you want.

Try downloading and running the 3rd example at:

I used no special code to hide all of the access interface. I ONLY use the
options in the tools->start-up...and they are designed just for what you ask
for.
