I am new to Access, and i have clicked the close button on the database
window that has the Objects listed. How can i get the window back?

Closing the database window (red X) closes that MDB and you'll have to use
File-Open to re-start it. A "hidden" database window can be brought to the
top by press <F11>.

You have closed the database, but not MS Access. You should be able to
reopen the database by clicking "File" on the menu bar; your database
will be listed as #1 at the botton of the drop-down sub-menu. Click the
name to re-open it.

Thanks for the help, but this didn't work. I tried the Database Window icon
and the F11, Still have a blank screen. I can see Relationships, forms &
tables (if i put one in the startup), but cannot see the Database Window.
There is a scroll bar at the bottom of the Access window, that is scrolled
all the way to the right side, but I cannot slide the bar back to the
beginning. If I File\close the file, the scroll bar remains on the screen. If
I open another fine, the scroll bar does not exist. Is the file corrupted;
can i repair the file if it is?

As pressing the F11 key didn't work, try this:

On the menu go to Window, Cascade. If it is off screen, that will bring it
back.

Another option is to resize the computer's screen size to something huge
like 1280x1024 pixels and see if it shows up.

Thanks a bunch, but the F11 did not help. There was a scroll bar at the
bottom of the access window, that was scrolled to the right end, but i could
not scroll to the left. Finally, right clicked on the scroll bar and told it
"Left Edge", then the database appeared. I closed the file and reopened, and
the database is in tact.
Thanks for the responses.

the Cascade worked. Thank you very much.

Thanks Jerry... that cascade window trick worked for me. Yikes, I
thought I'd have to rebuild it.
