I have a database created on a shared drive. i followed the 10 sumarized
steps according to www.ltcomputerdesigns.com/The10Steps.htm and everything
seemed to work just fine until I tried to access the db from a different pc
and I was able to opened without even been asked for a password.Does it mean
that I have to secure the db in each pc of everybody who's gonna have access
to the db? did I miss something during the procedure I did???help
please...and btw, I'm not really an expert working with access so any
solution would be really aprecciated. thanks.

No.

Yes.

A quick look-see at that site shows that the steps "seem" to be correct so I
would suggest going back to square one and try it again. When you do it
properly then your new workgroup file will have to be used to open the file.
If you can open it with other workgroup files then you missed a step.
