I have several sites on 1 server, 1 of the sites has several subdomains on
it. one of them I am trying to put a database on and keep getting the above
error. I went into _fpclass/fpdbrgn1 file and changed debug = true. this is
now the error I am recieving...

Database Results Wizard Error
'E:\kunden\homepages\40\d211917964\fpdb\fpnwind.mdb' is not a valid path.
Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected
to the server on which the file resides.

I couldnt get my db to work so I tried the sample db and still get this
error. any ideas?

To use FP extensions, you have to a subweb / subsite for each subdomain., then you would open the
subweb in FP and set up your database.

this is what I have done...
http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...&p=1&tid=3bf1684a-ae6a-49db-80e7-fc502a26dd5a

I have created several subsites just like the above post said to do. 1 for
each domain name I have on the server (4). on one of the domain names I have
created some subdomains within the control panel of the website. after doing
that I created more subsites for each subdomain that I had created in control
panel of website. I then went into fp for the subdomain/subsite, created a
basic index.htnl page. then went to DIW. I checked the box 'add to current
site'. it then started the wizard, 1st page I chose asp and create new. next
page named the db. the created my fields and so on to the end. I then
published to website, went to website and went to results page and found that
error. I have deleted the db several times and started over and still cant
figure out how to get rid of the error.
I also went to my provider, which is 1and1, and looked at webfiles and found
the file where the error says it cant find it. I know i am forgetting
something simple but cant figure it out.

Try opening the live/remote subweb/subdomain in FP, then drag and drop the database into this open
subweb, FP will prompt you to let it create a connection and to move the db to the fpdb folder, let
it. then go to the DIW and create your pages, etc.
