I am running Access 2000 database format within Access
2002. I have noticed on more then one occasion within the
last few months that objects I have made changes to have
not saved my changes and/or the database objects reverted
back to previously saved version. Most recently I saw
this within query joins but I have also seen it happen to
field names or properties within a report or query.

Has any seen this before and if so is there a patch and/or
does it this happen only under certain conditions or could
I have a virus targeting my Access databases or do I just
need a long vacation?

Hi, Malik.

Do you have the "Track name AutoCorrect info" database option checked? If
so, turn it off and compact the database.

Do you have Office XP SP-2 or higher installed? Do you have Jet 4.0 SP-8
installed? If not, download and install both of these.

Also, check the KB article "ACC2002: Silent Design Changes May Be Discarded
in a Multiuser
Environment" on this Web page:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=285828
do I just
need a long vacation?

If it's fun, do you have room for four more kids?

HTH.
