Hi
Before I go into reading all the help files.
Is it possible to read and update a
database file ( .mdb ) created with Visual Basic,
using a macro from within an Excel 97 worksheet.

This might be a help for getting data to and from Excel and Access: It
includes examples of using variables in SQL queries.
