Hi all,

There is a range only accept numberic with only three decimal. I use number
tab in "format cells" dialogue to do the formatting, but it can not restrict
the other characters such as alphebatic. I tried to use formula, but only
criteria is maxium and minimum. How could I do the restriction.

Hi, in my opinion, in addition to setting the format you need to set up
validation. Please choose the menu option Data -> Validation from the File
menu-bar and select Decimal under the Allow field and select the appropriate
criteria.
