Data Validation with colour

Is it possible to have Data validation for a list of values but add
colour to a selection of them?

At the moment they change back to the default colour?

May be an IF Command

Like IF = 6 THEN RED
 
I'm not exactly sure what your question is, but you might be able
to use Conditional Formatting from the Format menu to accomplish
what you want.
