Data Validation of multiple sources

I am currently using Excel XP. I would like to do a
multiple concurrent data validation of data. I have an
example which uses data validation using a Continent
selection, then a Country selection based on continent,
and then a State selection based on country. There is a
data sheet attached to the example and it looks like it
has a matrix with every possible senario listed. I was
wanting to create a similar Data Validation using numeric
data but have been uncussesful in doing so. Does anyone
have a procedure I could follow for this type of data
validation based on many sources?
