Let me clarify. I am trying to transfer data from an
excel 2002 cell to a specific place in a word 2002
document. I am not trying to cut/copy and paste. I want
data entered in excel to transfer to a word file in a
specific location. Can you help?

you may try it the other way around. Though I'm not a Word specialist
MS Word has the option to import a databse (activate the database
toolbar). Maybe this will help you (you may try posting this question
to the Word NG for helping you getting a specific data field)
