data sort way slow

Has anyone seen excel slow when sorting large data
tables? I have to wait up to 15 seconds on a 2GHz Sony
VAIO PC for the hourglass to stop. A friend does the
same table on the same PC and it is almost instant on his.

Maybe you'll see something that can help.

(Sometimes cleaning up the windows temp folder will help. But I'm not sure
it'll help in your situation--but it can't hurt.)
