Data Sort Option greyed.

I have been using this spreadsheet and all of sudden I cannot data sort. The
function is greyed out.
 
Did your worksheet become "Protected"?

In Excel 2003 or earlier: TOOLS-->OPTIONS-->Unprotect Sheet

In Excel 2007: Go to the Review Tab, then click "Unprotect Sheet"
