Data search and extraction from multiple text files query

Thanks for all your help.

Just one more thing. Say I have a whole selection of these data files
in a folder. Is it possible to search through them for the part number
( same as above ), and produce a list in Excel of the dates that
contain this part number?

EG: Part number 35900 would return:

01/11/2007
23/11/2007 etc

?
