data ranges don't appear in access import wizard selection box

Can anyone tell me why my named ranges in excel won't import into access
tables? When you select the named ranges box in the import wizard the
selection box lists a bunch of named ranges that don't even exist and none of
mine appear in the selection box.

I'd make double, no - triple, sure that you are attempting the import from
the correct Excel file. If you are it's possible that the Excel file might be
corrupt.

As far as I know I'm attempting to import from the correct file. Is there
any "simple" way to determine if/how the Excel file may be corrupted and then
fix it?
