Data Miners???

David

I am new to this program but after checking the progress
with the Beta version of the Microsoft Anti-Spyware, I
checked it's Efficiency by running XoftSpy software and
found out that through the XoftSpy there were 68
additional problems that are called "Data Miners". Does
anyone out there have any idea if Microsoft will catch up
to this competitor product or can I use the current
software to remove these dataminers?

The current Beta 1 release of MSAS does not look for cookies/data miners.
You can use any other software if you need to get rid of them. Maybe the
Beta 2 of MSAS will change the approach to the cookies and will also be able
to check for them and delete.

Hi David,
In the Beta1 version, the program doesn't go into the cookie jar, nor does
it chase data miner objects.
