We have a need to use a dropdown list for input in a cell
in 1 column but the dropdown box needs to use the source
data from a different column. Any way to accomplish this?

Hi Dewayne

Select the source cell and give them a name (ctrl-F3)
In Data-Validation use list and fill in =yoursourcename
