data is in table but not forms

I am a novice Access 2007 user on a Windows XP machine.

I have created a form using fields from several tables. It works fine, and I even managed to add a calculated field, so I'm very proud of myself. BUT, even though the Data format is set to "NO" my data disappears from the form. The data is in the underlying tables, but the form always shows record number 1.

TIA for any assistance, and I apologize in advance for being a dolt where Access is concerned.
