Data Entry in Tabular Format

Hi,

I would like to give my ens user a way of entering data in a tabular format.
They basically need to update or set a value within a table, for a given
number of pre-existing records. How ever, I do not want the user to be
entering the data in the actual table.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to how I might achieve this?

Thanks, but I am thinking more in terms of data entry, e.g. Some way of
achiving this on a form, which will give me the opportunity to add
validation etc.

What would be the benefit of the users entering data in another table?

Putting it in another table accomplishes this.

I used a sub form in grid layout in the end.
