Using Outlook 2000, SP3 with XP Pro. Sending MSWord files
as attachments, and recipients claim they are receiving
them as DAT files that they cannot open. What's
happening? How to fix it?
 
Change from Rich Text to Plain Text or HTML for your message format. This is
the most common cause of this problem -
