DAO (disk at once) burning

Mike

My dell has never realy recognised my HP writer, so I've
used my WMP to burn and somehow it burns through my HP.
I want to use nero to burn so I can DAO (disc at once)
and lose that horrible gap, but when applied, nero "says"
it's burning but does not. Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Mike

InCD is needed to run Nero, make sure it installed when
Nero is! Also IMAPI CD Rom Support one of the "Services"
Must be turned off.

Actually its the other way round :

Quote from the Nero website - "To install InCD 4, Nero Burning ROM and/or
Nero Express has to be installed on your PC".

Does your burner show up in device manager ? If so, as John says, by turning
off XP's CD burning service, you should get results. Apparently Nero doesn't
like co-existing with other burning software.

In Nero, to get rid of the annoying gaps between tracks (I assume thats what
you mean) is simple. When you've put your tracks to burn in the "burning
window", select all the tracks except the first one. Right click. Select
properties and you'll see in the resulting window "Pause", which by default
is set at two seconds. Rub out the 2 and put in 0 (zero), apply and ok.
Don't bother selecting track 1 because it can never have a pause in front of
it ..... !

Good Luck,
Jerry
