I bought two copies of, "star wars galactic battlegrounds", from Wal- Mart. I
want to play with my boy over our home network. One machine, HP, loads and
plays the program no problem. The other machine, Compact presario, will not
install. At the same point the error message comes back. Always during the
same .cab file. I unloaded my norton av program. I tried both copies of the
game. I tried copying the game to the hard drive, (hung in same spot) I even
tried to install from the HP cd drive over the network to this machine, Still
hung on the same file. Why would one machine load it and not the other? What
would cause me to get a cyclic redundancy check data error if the disk is
fine? HELP PLEASE!!
