Cyclic Redundancy Check

When trying to open an Excel document, We recieve the
following error: "Data Error: Cyclic Redundancy Check".
The document will not open, nor will it allow us to copy
off of the Diskette.
Is this a physical error with the diskette? Any ideas
would be greatly appreciated.

Patrick,

If Windows won't let you copy the file from the floppy to the
hard drive, the disk itself is probably trashed. Just for future
reference, you should never open files directly from the floppy.
Always copy to the hard drive and work from there, and then copy
back to the floppy when you're done.
