Hi,

Someone told me that CW Shredder should be placed on the desktop and run in
Safe Mode. I was also told that it isn't good for Windows XP. Are these
statements correct?

The first one, although only a short cut should be put on the desktop. I
have used it for years with no problems.

No. You can place it wherever you like. It works not just on XP but on W2K3 Server also. Yes you can use it in Safe and normal mode although it is wiser to do it in Safe

Thanks Peter :)

CWshredder works fine on XP systems. It doesn't matter where it's
placed, desktop or otherwise. In general anti-malware scans should be
done in safe mode but it can certainly be run in normal mode too.
