Cuttoff Tabs Excel 2003

Hello,

I have Excel XP at home but at work use Excel 2000. When I save my XP file
at home and open it on my pc at work, part of the worksheet tabs are cuttoff
plus the Excel Title Bar is hidden. I save in the Microsoft Excel 97-Excel
2003 format at home.

If I resize the Windows Taskbar-make it smaller then bigger, this seems to
fix the problem.

Is this an issue with XP, or could it be version of Windows I'm using at
work (Windows 2000) or something else. I would add when I create worksheets
on my pc at work there are no problems with the tabs.

Any help provided would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Sounds like you are saving the workbook not maximised within the Excel
window. When you reopen the workbook on a different machine it will
keep the window the same size as it was before and the vertical height
available may not be the same.

I would maximise the workbook within the Excel window before saving it
and see if that cures the problem.

I use various versions of Excel on a variety of different systems and
have never experienced what you describe, but I always work with
workbook windows maximised.

Thank you for the reply, Bill. I will try this out and see if it resolves
the issue.
