Cut and paste from web to Word 2003 inserts PDF icon instead of te

When I do a cut and paste from a website into Word it does not insert the
text, only a PDF Icon. The same if I paste into Word Pad.

If I paste into Note Pad then I can cut the result and paste it to Word.

What am I doing wrong?
