I want to cut and paste and entire image of a web page into a PP
presentation, so it has all the toolbar buttons on the image, like the "Home"
key ahe "Back" key, etc... I have seen this before, but do not know how it is
done. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

If you just want the image, then a screen capture will work. I suspect you
want the functionality of a web page, not just the image.

A screen capture is just what I want - I don't want the image to actually
"work". But I have no idea how to do a screen capture. Or where to find it...

With the webpage displayed on your computer, press the 'PrtScreen' button
(usually in the upper right corner of the keyboard). In PowerPoint select
Edit -> Paste. The screen image should be inserted. You may need to adjust
its size, trim, and such.

Bill,

I go into the screen I want. Press "Print Screen". Then I go into PP, right
click... but "Paste" is grey - there is nothing to paste.

It will be me, I'm crap at stuff like this.

Thanks for your help though,
Rob.

On some systems, I seem to remember that you need to press the shift or
control keys to get a screen capture option.

If this does not work, for whatever reason, then you also have options like
Snag-it by TechSmith. This is a very powerful capture program I use
extensively and love. There are also some free screen capture utilities on
the web if you have the time to search them out.
