Several users in our company have been fiddling around with the "Customize toolbars" option and have removed the "View" menu (God knows why). Since they no longer have that menu, they can't restore it..

Up to now, we have been reinstalling Excel

Is there a fast way to reset all the default menus, either with some vba code or a shortcut key

Thanks

Choose Tools + Customize + Toolbars Tab.

Scroll down the list and choose Worksheet Menu Bar and
choose Reset on the left. It will ask you if you want to
reset it to Default, choose Yes

Hope this helps

For those that have customizations that they wish to retain,
a less drastic approach would be to restore the "view" menu.

Tools, Customize, Commands (Tab),
on the left go down to built-in menus", on the right drag "view"
up to the menus area of your toolbar (between Edit and insert).

You should backup your toolbars, addressbook, favorites, and
other files along with your personal data.
