Prior to upgrading to 2007 if I changed the current view settings, in other
settings and automatic format, my settings would trickle down onto any new
created folder. For instance, if and when I add a new RSS feed, my
customized settings on this computer is not inhereted to the newly created
folders. My box that had 2003 with the customization done already does
inheret the properties. Is this a bug or is this just something that isn't
possible with Outlook 2007?

properties are only inherited if you change the default view for that folder
type and only on folders where the view hasn't 'one-offed'.

Yup. I figured that out. I had to start Outlook with the clear something
switch and then set the view from there. It then inherits/populates to all
new folders created. Thanks.
