Customized Toolbar and Custom Templates

Word 2003 XP.
Everything is visible in my customized toolbar in a new blank document until
I open a new document from customized template. Then the customized toolbar
seems to revert to a much more previous version. The toolbar is not attached
to the custom templates, but to Word as an add-in.

I'm the only workstation that this is happening to. Every other workstation
is fine, and all the toolbars work appropriately. My installation is no
different from the others, and I can't figure out why this is only happening
at my station.

There must be some setting that I'm missing. Any ideas? Thanks.

It's a global add-in. Not added to any document template. It's there, but
some of the buttons are gone. The buttons go with the global add-in. I'm
the only one getting this behavior.

Is it a custom toolbar that you created or a built-in one that you
customized? In order to avoid possible conflicts, it would be safer to add a
custom toolbar to the add-in.

Thanks for responding, Stefan. It is a custom toolbar. Believe it or not,
the issues with the Adobe pdfmaker got me to thinking it had to be some kind
of addin. And I've been struggling with this issue for weeks and weeks.

The solution for my problem was this:
Word/Tools/Customize/Toolbars - choose Com.addin and put it on the toolbar.
Run the com and it will bring up addins that are running. Remove any addins
that you don't think should be there anymore.

Problem resolved! It was an old Softwise addin that was causing the issue.
All is well again.
