Customized Bullets in PowerPoint 2000

I'm able to make a custom graphic which when placed in front of and aligned
with a block of text in PPT 2000, mimics a bullet. However, the two are not
"connected" like a bullet should be with it's text.

Any way to create custom bullets in bulleted lists in PPT 2000?

You bet.

Format, Bullets & Numbering
On the Bullets tab of the dialog box that appears, click Picture.
Choose the picture you want and ok your way out.
