Customized Attachment to a Generic Email

Greetings,

I am running WinXP and OfficeXP.

I have read the posts relating to the sending customized emails with generic
attachments, is there a way to send the output of the merge to email as an
attachment function in Word with a generic email. The current setup is a
blank email with the customized attachment.
