customize start menu folders/size

The pinned area on my start menu is getting crowded so I
would like to add another folder e.g. My Office
underneath My Documents, My Music etc. But I want to keep
all the existing folders. Is this possible?

If not I could manage without "My network places", can
this be replaced with a different folder?

I would also like to change the width of the left hand-
side of the start menu. Can this be done?

My pinned area is full and I wanted to group some of
these under folders. I can not find away to add new
folders. :-(
