After updating 3 users to Windows XP Service Pack 2, their "Customise Outlook
Today" button no longer works.

I have ran through the KB article 820575 and it did not make any difference

Any ideas

That is ok for myself. But i have to support several users and to use regedit
to customise an application is not good practice.

I am after a solution to the problem rather than a registry hack which needs
to be done each time the user wants to change their display

Since this is the first anyone has said the steps in the KB didn't work, the
only solution we know of is manually editing the registry. To make it
easier, export the reg and run it on the other machines. Users can edit the
reg in notepad to reconfigure OT, although if they are editing OT
frequently, then I'd have to wonder why they are wasting company time to
tinker with OT.

Can you confirm 100% that this fix works for Outlook 2000 ON WINDOWS XP
SERVICE PACK 2?

The fix in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;820575
works for me with ol2000 and winxp sp2. Make sure you created the correct
key in the correct location and set the value to 1.
