Customization of folder manually.

Hi all,

I want to add comment to my folder.

I am creating desktop.ini file in folder by setting proper comment.

But it is not showing me comments on comment columns.

To display comments properly in comment columns i have to set readonly
attribut of folder to true.

Can someone tell me reason behind this.

Please help me.

The reason is that that's the way Windiws works. The display of folders
which have the Readonly or System attribute is controlled by desktop.ini.
The display of folders which have neither of those attriburtes is not.
