Customise Track changes

How do I adjust the width of the changed lines bar in track changes in
Word 2003 and 2007. I need 2 pt (not 1/2pt) indicator bars and at
present all I can see as an option is to manually insert drawn lines
over the track changes bars for normal text and to add an extra column
for tables (due to a "feature" in word putting a drawn line beside a
table distresses the table alignment settings).

While you can change the color and the location of the lines, you cannot
change their weight.

Thanks - I guess I will have to experiment with OpenOffice track
changes and see if that works
