Custom Web Icon Inconsistency

Websites that have a custom icon will show as the
generic icon in Favorites or on the desktop when I create
a shortcut.

Example: www.starfall.com has a custom icon that is a red
square with a yellow smiley face star. On some computers
it will show up, on this one the shortcut shows the
generic IE blue E on a white piece of paper as the icon.

I have 34 computers in a computer lab environment and this
is not an issue with all of the computers, only about 1/3
of them. Any info would be appreciated!

The icons are stored in a cache, and when the cache is full (or too
small) the icon is deleted.

If you wish to make the icon permanent, right-click, choose
Properties, then Web Document and change the icon to an icon which
does not reside inside the "Temporary Internet Files" folders. If you
want the web site's original icon, you can download it directly from
the web site (see http://www.cursorarts.com/ca_faqif.html#02 for how
they are created) or use your own icons.
