Hi, I created a custom menu bar but when I open the database in another
machine with another username the menu is not there and I cannot import it
either (you know, get external data, chack toolbars&menu,...).
I know this issue has been disscussed here but I'm not sure my situation is
exactly the same.
Could anybody help me with that?
Thanks a lot.

Did you actually create a totally new custom menu bar or did you merely
customize a menu that already existed? There is as big difference.

Customizations to built in CommandBars become part of your local installation of
Access. You will see them in all files, but only on that machine. These
customizations are stored in the Windows registry.

Totally new CommandBars are stored within the MDB itself. You will only see
them when using the file that you created them in and if you open that file on
another PC it will be available. These CommandBars can also be imported into
other files.
