Custom Sort Mail Folders

Jerry Baker

I do not want my "Mail Folders" sorted alphabetically. I would like to
manually sort them according to the order in which I use them most
frequently. How do I tell Outlook that I know which order I would like
the folders in?

Thanks.

You can't sort them in the Folder Tree but you can in the Favorite Folders
list (OL2003 feature) by dragging & dropping

Thanks. That's good to know. Now as soon as I figure out how to have a
hierarchy in "Favorite Folders" I'll be set. How do I configure
mailboxes in "Favorite Folders" to appear as subfolders? For instance, I
want my Inbox, and then its subfolders (they are the ones I want to sort).

Favorites is a flat view, not indented, so the best you can do is putting
them in an order.
