Hi
I created a custom paper size named "Bar" in this way : control
panel -->printers-->file-->server properties-->new form
then i create a report in access2002 and set the paper size to "Bar" the
custom paper which I created above .
the problem is when I put the program on another computer the report which i
create white custom paper "Bar" does not print correctly and when I check
the paper size for the report on another computer it set to paper size
"Letter".
I must say that Befor copying the program on the another computer I Am
creating the custom paper size on the target computer in way I describe
Above.
I create the report on win2000 advanced server and the problem is useing it
on WinXP.

This could be a printer problem, but is more likely a problem with the
forms.

I understand that the two forms created on the two machines LOOK the
same. I doubt if they are truly the same. In my experience, each form
entry is numbered. On two machines with the same non-standard entry
("Bar") the form number may be different. This would account for
Access resetting the report to Letter.

The solution? There may be a better one, but I suggest setting up your
printer/paper size settings on the XP machine.

Hi Dear MR Krissco

Does this mean that two users use the same .mdb file at the same time?
Does this mean that the report needs to be sent to two different
printers?

If there are two users, consider splitting your database and configure
the report for each of them.

If there are two printers and you want an "easy" but not necessarily
"correct" solution - you can always make a second copy of your report
(one for each printer).
