custom menues

I tried creating cutom menues for an application I'm developing. I also
deleted several menues including "view" and "tools". This worked fine accept
that I only wanted the custom menues in my application. Now, whenever I open
Access, my menues are modified and I can't figure out how to restore menues
that I've deleted entirley. Please Help!

Hold down the shift key during startup, so the menus, and code stuff you
specified in the tools->startup does not run.
(by the way, the tools startup is where you setup the hiding of the built in
menus, and have ms-access show your menus that you built...you DO NOT want
to start deleting the built in menus to solve this problem).

now, you can right click the main menu bar, and in the tool bars tab, simply
select the menu in question, and then hit the reset button.

As for hiding all of the ms-access menus, and only showing yours, try
downloading the following example here:
(grab the 3rd one, ms-access interface hidden).

Note when you run the above how you get different menus for each form. And,
note that all of this was done via the tools->startup. Note also when you
hold down the shift key, everything in ms-access is 100% normal. So, build
you own menus bars, and then use the tools startup to set what the main menu
bar should be. (look at the sample to see how this was done).
