custom menu items not displaying

We have a MS Access 2000 application where occasionally a user will report
that under one of the custom menu bar header items the options do not display
below. The only option displaying is "Other" which is not even one of the
normal options of this menu bar header. This will occur even though the other
menu header and options below do display properly.

Any clue as to what might be going on? Thanks!

Is it on an IBM thinkpad with bluetooth? If so I have seen this. I have
never found a fix for it. A work-around is to not use menus with submenus.
Shortcut (right-click) menus are not affected as far as I can tell, so I
have used those instead on a few occassions.

No. This has occured on basic PCs and only twice that I know of. These are
just standard custom menus with options listed below by the way, not a
special sub-menu type. There might be something that is missing from the MS
Access install, perhaps. Compact and Repair didn't help. But Thanks!

What happens when you actually select "Other"?
