I have an application with a custom menu bar called menu2.

I call it as the menu bar under tools-startup for the datebase in
question.

I have installed this database on a number of PCs and they all see the
menu bar. However I released that I left the button on the menu bar to
delete a record. I didnt want to do this as I have custom buttoms on
the forms for users that have delete access. I removed the button from
the menu bar and added a button for exporting reports. However now
when I recopy the database out to my users they dont see the menu bar
change.

Any ideas on a fix?

Doesn't make sense. Do you utilize a version number somewhere in your app
so you can be certain that they have the new file and not an older copy?

Custom menus and toolbars are stored IN the file so if you give them a new
file they should definitely see the same toolbar as you do.

I agree, it doesnt make any sense. I am sure they have a new copy as I
upgraded them about 10 times since I made the toolbar change.

On further inspection it seems they are getting the new button that I
added(so I know they are getting new versions) but the button that I
removed is still there. That is the key, I cant get rid of the button
that allows them to delete records.
