Custom Icons on external USB Hard Drive

I have created a set of custom Icons using the plug in for Photoshop and
stored them in their own folder both on the computer and the external hard
drive itself

Using the Properties / customise I have been able to get to the new icons
and change them for the folder on the external drive. When I plug it in to
any other computer the custom icons don't seem to appear. Is it possible to
get Windows XP home SP3 to do this or is this something that can only be done
with the apparently available downloadable software

Many thanks
Richard

The specialized icons are saved in a file DESKTOP.INI (which can be found in
each specialized folder) which points to the location you used to create
that folder icon. When its on a USB drive and moved to a different computer
that location is not the same - that's why it doesn't work.

If you can translate the location given in DESKTOP.INI an dmake it the same
for for both computers it may work.
