Every so often, I get a message that the custom form can not be opened.
Outlook will use default form instead. I am using OL2003

Unless I am sleep walking, I am unaware that I created a custom form. The
only personal form I see is the SBE form which existed when I had OL2000.

Check under the following to make sure that no other forms are listed.

Tools - Options - Other- Advanced Options- Custom forms. if forms are
listed you do not need then delete them. May also want to select the forms
you do need and click clear cache as it may be losing its association

That could be a symptom that the item you're trying to open originally used a custom form, e.g. the SBE form. You can check this for yourself by adding the Message Class field to the folder view. If the class is anything other than IPM.Contact for a contact, then Outlook is expecting to see a custom form for that item. Let us know what you find out, and we'll take it from there.

It turned out to be related to the SBE, so I got rid of it since we don't
use it anymore.. Problem solved.
