Custom Fill Colors Issues

Depending on the color-resolution of the "user's" video,
they may not be able to view it. Conditional formatting
works on any machine since it is file specific so long as
it is not macro-invoked and the "user" has macros
disabled. Ideally the colors are defined by the system
color palette on their respective machines. You may want
to write a macro to set the RGB(xxx,xxx,xxx) values.

Hello.
I have saved three custom colors in my fill color box.

Whenever I send a file containing these custom colors to
another user, the user doesn't see the custom color, but
the default color from their fill palatte. Is there a way
to maintain the custom colors when I send to other users?
Perhaps a saving a color profile with the file.

I would appreciate any feedback ot help in this matter. I

have scoured the MS site and coulcn't find anything.

Thanks for the suggestion. How would I do that? Would I have to create a macro for each color? Secondly, if the user has macros disabled and the file is opened, would the colors not show as the custom colors? Would it be better to do conditional formatting?

I'm not sure how an excel workbook's color palette works with video drivers and
system colors, but each workbook contains it's own color palette.

Do the recipients see your colors when they open your workbook, but the colors
revert when they copy the worksheet into an existing workbook?

If that's the case, read that portion of David's notes that describes how to
"Copy color palettes between workbooks"
