Custom Dictionary Disabled

Being a report writer, I have many word shortcuts in my autocorrect (such as
pg = progress, etc.). On more than one occasion, I receive Word documents in
which my custom shortcuts do not work. I am the final editor of these
documents and need my shortcuts. How do I get my custom shortcuts to work in
all Word documents I receive? I am using Word 2002.

Never mind.......found it. It's the language setting. Thanks anyway.....TC
