Custom Controls NG??

I'm really interested in custom controls and read in the Larry Roof article
that one cannot create custom controls that can be added at designtime. For
that I needed to use C#.......is this true. If so this is a definite
divergence between the two languages.

Is there a future in custom controls for a VB.NETer?

As a professional programmer of over 14 years, I'm starting to feel pushed
into C#.

Oh yeah the question.....is there a decent site devoted to developing CF
custom controls?

The Open-Source libraries available at OpenNETCF include a number of forms
controls. E.g.

I know that some of the controls in the forms package do not have full
designer support just yet, but the GroupBox definitely does.
