custom appointment form

Greg

I am creating custom forms for my appointments its an
IPM.appointment class file
first question is; the default appontment IPM page that opens has
fields like Subject and location; is there any way i can rename them
or place fields like Customer Name; Phone Number; Type of Vehicle on
the first page? The reason is I would like them to be displayed in the
calender view so i have a brief summary of what they are before
opening up the actual appointment form.

Second question; On the second page of the IPM form (In design mode)
When i try to put in a field that is already in the default fields
lists, like First Name; Last Name; and Phone Number i get errors
saying " The property does not exist. The field you want to modify is
not valid for this type of item". All the user defined fields load
onto (P.2) of the form with no problems at all.

Many thanks in advance... If one needs more information please post
the information you would like.

You cannot modify any of the built-in pages of an appointment form.

If you want text to display in the day/week/month view, it must be placed in
the Subject and/or Location fields. Outlook 2002 and 2003 can also show an
AutoPreview of the body of the item.

Generally, you cannot add fields from other types of items, e.g. a Phone
Number from the All Contact Fields list. Stick to the Appointment fields.

I figured a way how to get my information to display in calendar view
in first question below.
What i did was create the 2nd page form how i wanted all my
information to look then i added the location and subject fields to my
2nd page form and deleted the field titles and added new text for it
to say Customer for Subject and Yr.Make.Model for Location
now when i input all my information into the Customer and
Yr.Make.Model Fields on the 2nd page form it puts this information on
the first page which makes it display in calendar view.

Just thought i would share some information.
Once again i really appreciated all the MVP's who answer all our
questions.

Many thanks
Greg
