Custom animation AND hyperlink??

Please can enyone tell me how to make an object hyperlinked to another ppt,
fade once I return from the other ppt.
The effect I want is like clicking on closed windows of an advent calendar
in turn, showing images of what's "in each window", and returning to show
that window open. Thanks in anticipation

Thanks so much for your reference. Great resource.
I'm still stuck since I seem to need a click on a shape to trigger a custom
animation as well as a hyperlink to another set of slides.
Can you think of a way this can be done with Ppt 2003 on XP?

That's exactly what the jeapardy tutorial does! The buttons have an action
setting of hyperlink to ... AND a trigger for the custom animation. The
animation will happen when you return from the link.
